My Story
Why I Became an Independent Facilitator
The Self-Determination Program is one of the most powerful tools available to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families — but navigating it alone can feel impossible. Paperwork, regional center coordination, budget management, and advocacy all at once is a lot for any family to take on.
I became an Independent Facilitator because I believe every family deserves a knowledgeable, caring partner in their corner. My work is guided by a simple principle: the person at the center of the plan should be the loudest voice in the room.
I work with individuals ages 3 to 70 across California, meeting families where they are and building plans that reflect their unique goals, values, and vision for a meaningful life.
